A total of 158 players out of a field of 3,287 returned to the Pau Casals room at Casino Barcelona for Day 2 of the 2018 PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona €550 EPT Cup and another Pineapple Flipout for the coveted Platinum Pass was up for grabs. The room was buzzing in preparation for Day 2 of the EPT Cup and the €100,000 Super High Roller, and all tables played one flipout to get to the semi-finals with two tables of 10 players. Among those were also Jackson White, Yorane Kerignard and Antonina Anapolska, but neither of them was fortunate enough to win their flip.

In the first semi-final, Mickael Vongsouthi hit a flush with {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to book his seat for the heads-up duel, while Rolando Camardese claimed his spot with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. Vongsouthi and Camardese faced off in the final and it was Camardese, who hails from Maastricht in the Netherlands, that won his entry for the 2019 PokerStars Players No Limit Hold'em Championship (PSPC) on The Bahamas worth $30,000 in total.
