Down and Up for Antonius

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Patrik Antonius & Maya Geller
Patrik Antonius & Maya Geller

In the first hand, the board read {3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Spades} and Frank Stumpf checked his small blind. Patrik Antonius bet 8,300 in the early position and Stumpf was considering his options. After a while, Stumpf opted to make the call. Antonius tabled {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Stumpf first revealed the {a-Hearts} for the pair of aces and then the {10-Diamonds}.

The hand after, Antonius raised from under the gun and was called by Jesper Hansen and Saar Wilf in the blinds.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Antonius continued with a bet of 1,300 when it was checked to him and Hansen was the only one to make the call.

The turn was the {8-Clubs}, Hansen checked again and now Antonius bet 4,000 which was enough for Hansen to let his hand go.
