EPT Online 12 Is Set to Go

EPT Online
EPT Online

It's time for the 12th event in the 2020 PokerStars EPT Online. EPT Online 12 is a progressive knockout game with $500,000 guaranteed in the prize pool.

Action in EPT Online 12 gets going at 1:05 p.m. eastern time today, but they'll only play seven and three quarter hours on Day 1. They'll bag up the stacks at that point and return tomorrow to play it out to a winner.

Players get 100,000 in chips for their $1,050 buy in, and they'll play 20 minute levels through Level 33. Starting in Level 34, blinds move to 30 minutes levels until they determine a winner. They'll have nearly five hours to get in the game late, and during that time, players have up to two rebuys they can use if they lose all their chips.

With the PKO format, $500 of the buy in goes directly to the cash prize pool, while the other $500 stays on the player's head, to be handed out to the player who busts them. Half the bounty gets added to the surviving players bounty, while the other half goes directly into their pocket.

At the halfway mark of the first ever EPT Online, there are already 9 events in the books. The massive four-day Arena Championship finished yesterday with Norway's "DON JOHAN" taking down the big prize of more than $350K while Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski took down more than $200K after winning EPT Online 06: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, High Roller] earlier in the week.

Event 10 and 11 will also be live today. Both will be playing down to a winner today, and EPT Online 13 also gets going later in the day, so there's plenty of EPT poker action to keep you occupied. Stay tuned here for all the action from Day 1 of EPT Online 12: $1,050 NLHE [6-Max], and find all the other action and results on the Series page.

Christopher "lissi stinkt" Frank raised to 5.6K from the cutoff and "ORLOVSKIY" called from the button, as did the player in the big blind, to see {j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} on the flop. It checked to Frank who bet 6K, then shoved a covering stack after "ORLOVSKIY" reraised to 22.4K. "ORLOVSKIY" called with draws to the nut flush and wheel against queens for Frank, but the flush bricked and Frank took the pot and the bounty.
