The penultimate day of the 2020 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Online festival awaits and the flagship $5,200 Main Event will get one step closer to crowning a champion. Out of a field of 1,304 entries, only 72 players remain in contention, and all eye a spot on the nine-handed final table, which would lock up a payday of at least $78,797.

Best-positioned to go all the way is Irishman Toby "sadface111" Joyce with 11,706,697, followed by Viacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin (10,340,384) and "TTWIST" (10,318,673) as the only other players with an eight-figure stack.

Another three known notables reside in the overnight top 10 including Andreas "daskalos20" Christoforou (7,950,893), Fabio "hdjgkfkgsdl" Sperling (7,928,512), and Liviu "0Human0" Ignat (7,745,169), separated by only three big blinds. Further regulars on the international poker circuit follow not far behind such as Jon "apestyles" Van Fleet (7,659,083), Nuno "BrigaDatada" Capucho (7,650,210), Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams (7,337,601), 2015 EPT Prague runner-up Gleb "Ti0373" Tremzin (6,561,672), and Christopher "Apotheosis92" Kruk (6,127,549).

The sole remaining representative of the red spade is 2019 PokerStars Players Championship winner Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas, who sits in the middle of the pack with a stack of 2,874,265. That represents nearly 36 big blinds for the start of Day 3, which kicks off at 1.05 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) with the remainder of level 27 at blinds of 40,000/80,000 and a running ante of 10,000.

Dutchman Rob "batoelrob" Hollink is still on track for a second EPT Main Event title and unprecedented live and online double, as he returns with 3,747,007. Alongside former runner-up Tremzin in the top 10, Marton "noirduck" Czuczor is also seeking redemption for two heads-up losses and enters the penultimate day with 3,266,790.

Plenty of other big names made the cut including Rafael "GM_VALTER" Moraes, Antoine "A. Saout" Saout, Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle, Will "hellzito" Arruda, Mustapha "lasagnaaammm" KanitLaszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas, and Luke "Bit2easy" Reeves to name but a few.

The action of Day 3 and tomorrow's final table will also be broadcasted with cards-up coverage and commentary on a security delay of 30 minutes on the PokerStars YouTube and Twitch channels. All PokerNews live updates will be published accordingly in order to not spoil any of the action.
