With 38,000 in the pot on a {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} board, Anas Belatik checked from under the gun over to Stoyan Madanzhiev, who shoved all in for 58,500. Kassouf Walks (Talks) into a Raise

Level 14 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
William Kassouf
William Kassouf

On a heads-up turn of {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, Will Kassouf had bet out 5,500 from the big blind and the action was now on Marc Foggin who was deep in thought.

"Big blind special, I flopped it," Kassouf said, but as soon as the words left his mouth Foggin put in a raise to 20,000.

"Wow, you really got a nine, mate?" Kassouf asked him, perplexed, but no response.

"Queen jack no good, eh?" Kassouf tried again to get a read, and this time Foggin just chuckled and took a sip from his drink.

"Alright, I believe you," he conceded and threw his cards into the muck and Foggin was pushed the pot.

The pair will be very busy when the bounties are eligible to be turned in at the beginning of dinner break.

Morand Dons Hero Cape

Level 14 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The flop was {j-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and two players were heads up battling for the 13,000 pot. Loic Morand was under-the-gun and led out for 4,000, which Ignas Jasinevicius in the hijack called.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and both players checked and went straight to the river {5-Spades}.

Morand checked to Jasinevicius who then bet 17,500. Morand then took his time with his decision, mulling it over.

After looking at his cards one last time, he looked as if he was about to fold but then quickly announced "call". Jasinevicius then tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for just ace-high and Morand flipped over {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a pair of nines to win the pot.

Tedeschi Hits Trips on Orpaz

Level 14 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Paul Tedeschi opened from early position for 4,000 and Tom Orpaz called from middle position. Uri Reichenstein defended his big blind and they went three ways to the flop.

The flop came {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and action checked over to Orpaz, who bet 5,000. While Reichenstein tossed his cards away, Tedeschi continued on.

The {8-Hearts} arrived on the turn and Orpaz fired a second barrel for 15,000. Tedeschi would slowly analyze before making the call about 30 seconds later.

The {a-Spades} came on the river and both players would need about 20 or 30 seconds before tapping the table.

Tedeschi flipped over {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} which was enough to see Orpaz raise his eyebrows in surprise before tossing his cards into the muck.

Despite losing the hand, Orpaz is enjoying a successful day thus far, having already doubled his starting stack and earning a bounty in the process.

Zeitoun Four-Bets to Chip Up

Level 15 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Before the flop, Luiz Filho opened to 4,000 in late position and was called by Anas Belatik in the highjack, but was then three-bet to 15,500 by Hayato Kitajima in the cutoff.

The action was then on Johann Zeitoun on the button, who paused for a second before putting in a cold four-bet to 40,000. The action folded back around to Filho, who tanked for a full minute before finally laying his cards down.

Belatik and Kitajima quickly folded as well and the pot was pushed to Zeitoun for a nice pickup.
