Parker Talbot Biography
Born in Ontario, Canada, Talbot became interested in poker at age 13 after watching the World Poker Tour on television with his parents. He played against his dad for many years before he first played in a casino on his 18th birthday.
Talbot immediately lost the $100 he had before his father gave him another $100 as a present. From there, he never looked back.
The origins of his popular “tonkaaaa” and “tonkaaaaP” online screennames came about thanks to his hockey coach calling him a Tonka truck and the nickname sticking.
