Kassouf Loses to "Lucky Fish" Dedusha

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Artan Dedusha
Artan Dedusha

Artan Dedusha opened to 1,000 from the hijack and Jean-Philippe Schoonbrood called from the cutoff. Will Kassouf made it 4,400 from the big blind. As Dedusha was contemplating, Kassouf warned him: "I've got a big hand, a very big hand." Nevertheless, both Dedusha and Schoonbrood came along for the ride.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and Kassouf checked, saying "I'm gonna check top two" and Dedusha put out a bet of 4,000. Schoonbrood folded and Kassouf called.

Both players would tap the table as the {k-Hearts} paired the board and put a second flush draw on the board.

On the {2-Spades} river, Kassouf checked again and Dedusha put out a bet of 15,000. Kassouf then called Dedusha a "Lucky fish" and accused him of bluffing a flush draw before folding and tabling pocket queens.

Nakamura Rivers Top Pair, Takes Down 50,000-Chip Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Tamon Nakamura
Tamon Nakamura

There was already around 20,000 in the middle with the board reading {9-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and Nebojsa Ankucic, from the small blind, had put out a bet of 15,000.

Tamon Nakamura, on the button, went into the tank for well over a minute before eventually making the call.

Ankucic would show {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Nakamura turned over {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a flush draw that turned into top pair on the river, taking down a pot of around 50,000 chips.

Hrabia Doubles Up After Turning Straight

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

There was around 22,000 in the middle on a {4-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades} board and Kamil Hrabia was all in for his last 14,200 from the big blind.

Grzegorz Tryba, in the cutoff, went back and forth over his decision and after about 90 seconds and putting Hrabia on ace-king, he made the call and showed {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for top two pair.

His two pair was no good, however, as Hrabia showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for the nut straight and took down a pot of over 50,000 chips.

Farrell Wins One Off Kortas

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Niall Farrell
Niall Farrell

Ghattas Kortas opened for 1,200 from the hijack and Niall Farrell, who just recently joined the star-studded Table 37, defended his big blind.

The flop came {4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Kortas continued for 1,500. Farrell called.

On the {8-Clubs} turn, Kortas put out a bet of 3,700, leaving him with less than 20,000 behind. Farrell took about 30 seconds before making the call.

On the {10-Spades} river, both players tapped the table and Farrell quickly turned over {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, which was good enough to secure the pot.

Cessy Doubles Up Through Eminoglu

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

There was around 40,000 in the middle on a {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} board and Yucel Eminoglu, from under the gun, had shoved all in for 22,900.

Laurent Cessy, in the cutoff, contemplated his decision for roughly 90 seconds while Eminoglu talked the entire time, telling Cessy that he could not win and that he should fold. At one point, he switched gears: "It's only money, you can always rebuy!" Cessy would eventually make the call for his last 20,600.

Eminoglu showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} while Cessy showed {a-Hearts}{7-Spades} for two pair and the win, claiming he only played that hand because Eminoglu had been opening too many hands recently.
