Soenmez Chips Up Against Pingray

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Erkan Soenmez opted to limp the small blind with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Hugo Pingray raised to 445,000 holding the {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} in the big blind for Soenmez to call. The {8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop was checked by the German and Pingray continued for 275,000.

Carefully considering his option during the allocated 30-second shot clock, Soenmez called and the {k-Clubs} turn gave him the top pair which he checked. Pingray went for it with a bet of 800,000 into 1,560,000 and picked up a call by Soenmez.

The {7-Clubs} river was checked by Soenmez once more and Pingray didn't empty the clip this time to check behind. Soenmez dragged in the pot and jumped into second place.
