Adrian Mateos opened to 50,000 in early position and Marius Gierse defended his big blind. The flop came and Gierse check-called a bet of 45,000 from Mateos.
The turn brought the and both players checked to the on the river. Gierse led out with a small bet of 60,000 which put Mateos in the tank, using two of his time banks. Mateos ended up laying his hand down and Gierse collected the pot.
"Ace-high?" Gierse asked.
"Jack-high," Mateos responded with a shrug of his shoulders.
