Under the gun, Simon Lofberg raised and was called only once, by Maher Nouira in the cutoff.

Both players checked on the flop 8♠6♦A♥ and moved on to the turn 9♣, where they checked again. A second nine, the 9♦, came on the river. And this time, Lofberg took a few chips from his stack to bet 115,000.

Nouira went into the tank and eventually called. But he mucked his cards when Lofberg revealed A♣5♣ for a pair of aces.

With the board reading 8♥K♦4♠ and about 85,000 in the middle, Patrik Antonius checked from the big blind and Francesco Pilato bet 15,000 from early position. Pakinai Lisawad made the call before Antonius put in a check-raise to 105,000. Pilato folded and Lisawad called leaving players heads up going to the turn.

On the 9♥ turn Antonius moved all in and Lisawad snap-called with a covering stack.
