Colciar Makes a Higher Flush than Kitai

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

With 5,700 in the middle on the A547 turn, Ionut-Lucian Colciar checked, and Davidi Kitai bet 1,200. Giancarlo Monti called before Colciar put in the check-raise to 5,200. Only Kitai stuck around.

The 6 landed on the river, and both players checked. Colciar showed A5, rivering the ace-high flush, and Kitai looked frustrated as he showed the J before mucking his second card.

David Dodges the Flush to Score Knockout

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

On the turn of K864, Cristian David checked to Dimitrios Angelakos who fired a bet of 15,500 into the pot of about 16,000. David went deep into the tank before eventually moving all-in. Angelakos called off his stack of about 26,000 and both hands were on their backs.

Cristian David: JJ

"I have outs," said Angelakos as he saw the cards.

The 4 river wasn't one of them though as he missed his flush draw and overcard to exit the tournament.

Malaurie Puts Pressure On Yokosawa

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

On a AK5410 board with approximately 18,000 chips in the pot, Masato Yokosawa went deep in the tank after he bet 23,000 on the river, and Christophe Malaurie raised all in for 38,000 chips.

Yokosawa spread his time banks in front of him, and the dealer took all of them except for one before he made a decision. Eventually, Yokosawa folded. "I have no idea what you have," said Malaurie later.

Kropmanns Hits Top Pair On The River

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

At Gerard Pique's table, Ramon Kropmanns opened from under the gun, and Guilherme Ramalho called in the small blind.

On the flop 4710, Kropmanns made a continuation bet of 700 and was called once again. So he fired a second barrel of 3,500 on the turn 6. But Ramalho didn't back down and called.

The Q came on the river, where Ramalho checked. Kropmanns seemed to hesitate, but he decided to check back.

Ramalho revealed J7 for a pair, but Kromanns with AQ for a pair of queens won the pot.
