Marchetti Luca raised to 1,500 from middle position and picked up calls from Mathieu Mariani and Bojan Berberovic. Polad Akhmedov reraised to 5,500 from the small blind and Gheorghe Fedorca called from the big blind. All other players folded.

The flop came {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Akhmedov made a continuation bet of 7,000 and Fedorca called.

Nick Walsh
Nick Walsh

There was an incredible start to the year with the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and PokerStars Players NL Hold’em Championship at the stunning Baha Mar Resort in The Bahamas.

And PokerStars Ambassador Nick Walsh says that things are heading in a really good direction when it comes to the live poker scene.

“The French — they absolutely love poker,” he told PokerNews. I'm expecting a very, very large event. Not just because of where live poker is right now, but I know it's been a while since we've had a stop close enough for the French to attend that wasn't Monte Carlo.”
