Gresko Gets It on the Turn

Level 10 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Mircea Flutur was three-bet by Michael Gresko preflop and the former had called, creating a 14,000 pot. The flop was then spread 3102 and Flutur checked to Gresko.

Gresko made a bet of 6,500, which Flutur called. On the 9 turn, Gresko increased his sizing to 14,500, and that was enough to let Flutur check-fold his hand and forfeit the pot to Gresko.

Level 10 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Oliver Heidel
Oliver Heidel

Oliver Heidel opened 2,600 in the cutoff to receive an immediate three-bet to 8,100 from Tomas Lestina on the button. The blinds quickly got out of the way, and Heidel made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of Q86, and once Heidel checked, Lestina checked back.

The 5 fell on the turn, and Heidel led out for 5,300, which was enough to drag the pot as Lestina tossed his cards into the muck.

Spragg off to Bad Start on Reentry

Level 10 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Robert Schulz kicked off the action with a raise to 2,500 from under the gun. Benjamin Spragg, who joined this table after busting his first bullet not much earlier, flat-called from the next seat over before Joonas Helin defended his big blind.

All three players then checked on the 465 flop before Helin led out for 3,000 on the 3 turn. Schulz made the call while Spragg quickly got out of the way.

The 5 river completed the board and saw Helin bet a whopping 11,000. That was enough to get his opponent to fold, awarding Helin the pot.

Ace-High is Good for Graells

Level 10 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Three-way on a board of Q2K4, Alejandro Vazquez in middle position, a player in the cutoff and Ricardo Graells in the small blind all checked on the flop and the turn.

But after Graells checked a third time on the river 2, Vazquez bet 1,500. "It's a very small bet," Graells said when the cutoff folded. But the Swiss player was too curious, so he called.

Vazquez's face seemed to say that he had nothing. A fact confirmed when he showed 75. Graells' hand wasn't much better, but his A5 was good enough to win.

Jantos Doubles Through Wheeler

Level 10 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jason Wheeler opened 2,600 in early position and both Kotaro Hosoya and Patrik Zidek made the call before Radek Jantos jammed his remaining stack across the line. Wheeler asked for a count, and once the dealer let him know it was 18,400, he announced all-in as well forcing both players behind him to muck.

Radek Jantos: AJ
Jason Wheeler: KQ

The KJ6 flop hit both players, but Wheeler took the lead with a pair of kings, The A landed on the turn, reversing the roles once again, and the A river improved Jantos to a full house as he collected his double.
