Jantos' River Bet Earns the Pot

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Radek Jantos opened 3,000 in early position and both Daniel Koloszar from a couple of spots to his left, and Patrik Zidek in the big blind made the call.

All three players checked to the A1046 turn. Zidek checked once more before Jantos pushed a bet of 6,000 across the line. Only Koloszar made the call.

When the K hit the river, Jantos paused for almost a minute before dropping eight chips across the line for a bet of 8,000. Koloszar took a peak at his cards once again before pushing them toward the dealer to surrender the pot.

Groenendijk Gets Green Light to Double Up

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Felix Schneiders raised to 3,000 from a short stack in the hijack before Alejandro Vazquez put in a three-bet from the cutoff. The action then folded to Julien Groenendijk, who put in his stack of 14,000 chips for a jam.

Schneiders got out of the way before Vazquez put in the extra chips for a call.

Julien Groenendijk: 1010
Alejandro Vazquez: AQ

Groenendijk won the flip when his tens held on the 87K6J runout, and he doubled up. Schneiders was left with around ten big blinds.

Meanwhile, fellow PokerStars Ambassador Benjamin Spragg was seen with a fresh ticket for Day 1b of the Eureka Main Event, meaning that his Day 1a had reached a premature conclusion.

Tollari Doubles Through Odani

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Daniel Budin opened to 3,500 from early position and action folded to Julien Tollari, who shoved for his last 16,500 on the button. Takumi Odani called cold from the small blind and Budin got out of the way.

Julien Tollari: AA
Takumi Odani: AJ

The 6J7 flop kept Odani drawing live to trips, but the 4 turn and Q river bricked out and Tollari doubled up with his aces.

Rodriguez Bets Thinly

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

On a completed board of AA2J4, and with 60,000 chips in the middle, Miroslav Forman checked to his opponent Antonio Rodriguez.

Rodrigues then put forth a small bet of 16,000, which left Forman pondering for a while.

Eventually, he put in the call, but tapped the table and mucked his cards once he saw the KK of Rodriguez.

Michele Guerrini: KQ
Oliver Heidel: 33

Chmela Lessens Lead

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Three players saw the river on 97KQ6, on which chipleader Tomas Chmela made a bet of 16,000 from the big blind, and Rui Querido Martins quickly folded from the cutoff.

Yuto Suzuki, however, looked Chmela up with a call from the button, and the Slovakian could only show 82 for a missed flush draw.

Suziki tabled KJ for the winning pair and raked in the pot on his second entry of the day.

Winz Blasts Three Streets for the Win

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Rui Querido Martins opened in the cutoff and both Berthold Winz and Andre Machado called in the blinds.

The dealer fanned a flop of K53, and Winz fired out a bet of 6,500. Machado got out of the way but Martins stuck around with a call.

The 6 fell on the turn, and Winz continued for 10,500. Machado tossed in a call as the Q completed the board on the river.

Winz didn't slow down, shoving all-in as he pushed forward his remaining stack of 45,000. Martins finally surrendered as he asked if Winz had a five.

Winz proudly tabled the A5, showing a pair of fives.

"Great play," Martins said as the dealer pushed the pot the other way.

Chan Doubles Through Kolarik

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Christian Ly opened to 3,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 10,000 by Tomas Kolarik on the button. Tsz Him Chan called from the small blind and Ly called as well.

Action checked to Kolarik on the K83 flop and he continued for 16,000. Chan called and Ly folded.

On the 8 turn, both players checked and Chan led out for 25,000 after the K river double-paired the board. Kolarik tanked for a few minutes before announcing he was all in, which was enough to put Chan all in for his remaining 54,500.

Chan quickly called and Kolarik could only table AQ. Chan turned over AK for kings-full and more than doubled his stack.
