Bastos Hits the Rail

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Matti Keranen jammed all-in from middle position and the action folded around to Eugenio Bastos in the big blind. After tanking for some time, he made the call for his remaining stack of about 38,000.

Eugenio Bastos: 65
Matti Keranen: AJ

Both players made a pair on the J63 flop, but Keranen was still in the lead with his pair of jacks. The 10 turn and 10 river were no help for Bastos as he exited the tournament.

Accused Private Poker Game Cheater: "I Didn't Bring Any Cards Anywhere"

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

One day after being accused of cheating a California home game out of millions, Tony Mars issued a statement to PokerNews denying the allegations.

Wesley Fei and Nikhil "Nik Airball" Arcot, both Hustler Casino Live regulars, claim that Mars, who also plays on HCL, brought a special UV-marked deck that allowed him to decipher face-down cards.

The alleged scandal occurred in a game at a private residence in Yorba Linda, California, a community in Orange County.

Rollercoaster of Emotions Ends Hildebrandt

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jacek Hildebrandt shoved his last 32,500 into the middle from under the gun, and Komil Khamidov called in the small blind before Christian Ly mucked the big blind.

Jacek Hildebrandt: A7
Komil Khamidov: AJ

Hildebrandt was behind but the 972 flop gave him a pair of sevens to take the lead. The Q turn changed nothing, however, the J river paired Khamidov to send Hildebrandt out of the tournament.

Almost 400,000 Chips for Lococo

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Alejandro Lococo
Alejandro Lococo

On Table 8, Alejandro Lococo had a normal stack and Ville Keranen to his left had a big one a few levels ago. But the situation changed and Lococo has the big one now.

Just before the break, both players found themselves in a blind versus blind situation, with Lococo limping from the small blind.

After Keranen checked his option, Lococo bet 2,500 on the 75J flop. Then he fired a second barrel of 8,500 on the turn A. Both times, Keranen called.

But when Lococo bet 30,000 on the river Q, Keranen gave up and folded. Thanks to this pot, Lococo reached 400,000 chips.

Helin Jams the River

Petr Novotny opened 7,500 in the hijack and Joonas Helin defended from the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 742, and Helin check-called a bet of 5,500.

When the 10 fell on the turn, Helin checked to Novotny who continued for a bet of 7,500. Helin put in a check-raise to 24,000, which Novotny called.

The A completed the board on the river, and Helin didn't slow down, announcing all-in for roughly 52,000. Novotny instantly pitched his cards into the muck and the dealer pushed the pot to Helin.

Adrian Strobel found himself at risk for 47,000 from early position against Frederik Thiemer in the cutoff.

Adrian Strobel: QQ
Frederik Thiemer: AQ

"Good luck, guys," said Strobel when Thiemer found an ace on the A96 flop. He stood up on the turn 9... but sat back down when he hit the Q on the river, the last outer he had left to stay in the tournament.
