Three players brewed a pot of about 8,500 before the 8♠6♠4♦ flop, and all three players checked to the 5♠ turn.

Miguel Fluxa was first to act and dropped a bet of 1,500 across the line, which was matched by both Dieter Zwick and Roberto Corbelli.

The 5♦ paired the board on the river, and Fluxa continued with aggression, firing 6,200 across the line. Zwick instantly folded, and Corbelli took about 15 seconds before deciding to follow suit.

After 2023 EPT Paris FPS winner Daisuke Ogita was moved to the table, Eugenio Bastos and Adam Blazek found themselves in a blind versus blind situation.

On the A♦J♣4♠ flop, Bastos checked from the small blind, then called Blazek's bet to 1,000. Both players checked the turn 3♣ to find the 6♥ on the river, where Bastos checked again.

Blazek quickly bet 4,000, but he was called by Bastos with K♥K♠ who scooped the pot.

Takumi Odani kicked off the action with a raise to 2,000 from under the gun. Luc Ramos then called from the next seat over, as did Paul Covaciu in the cutoff.

Rene Keller then went all in for 10,000 from the button and Odani called before Ramos got out of the way. Covaciu also came along and a flop of 10♠8♥6♠ was dealt.

Odani checked before calling a 9,500 bet from Covaciu. On the A♦ turn, Odani checked once more before being faced with an all-in wager of 38,300 from his opponent. He thought it over for a minute or so but ultimately decided he could not fold and put in the call, leading to a three-way showdown.

Covaciu was ahead with his two pair, but Odani had a plethora of outs with his straight and flush draws. Keller was still drawing live as well, but the Q♣ river made Odani his straight, resulting in the elimination of both of his opponents.

By winning this pot, the Japanese player crossed the 200,000-mark and is chip-leading the field on Day 1a of the Eureka Main Event.

Those who have not been able to make it to the Czech capital city need not worry about missing out on the action from the final EPT jaunt of the year as cards-up coverage for the €10,200 Mystery Bounty and €5,300 EPT Main Event will be available from December 12-17 on PokerStars' YouTube and Twitch channels.

The Mystery Bounty starts the six-day broadcasting fiesta, with action from the final day commencing at 1 p.m. CET.

The following day is when the Main Event stream starts, so be sure to catch the livestream from Day 2 all the way through to the final table.

English-language coverage will be hosted by James Hartigan, Joe Stapleton, Griffin Benger, Nick Walsh and Maria Ho.

There will also be streams on the French, Spanish and Brazilian channels in addition to broadcasts in German and Italian.
