Accused Private Poker Game Cheater: "I Didn't Bring Any Cards Anywhere"

One day after being accused of cheating a California home game out of millions, Tony Mars issued a statement to PokerNews denying the allegations.

Wesley Fei and Nikhil "Nik Airball" Arcot, both Hustler Casino Live regulars, claim that Mars, who also plays on HCL, brought a special UV-marked deck that allowed him to decipher face-down cards.

The alleged scandal occurred in a game at a private residence in Yorba Linda, California, a community in Orange County.

Mohamed Ali Bardei, in the big blind, bet out for 11,000. Aleksandar Batovac, on the button, tanked for some time before moving all in. Bardei called off the bet for his last 23,000.

On a flop of 9♣6♣7♦, action checked to Nikolai Ogoltsov who bet 4,500. Abdullah Turan raised to 10,000 from the button, Fintan Hand called in the big blind, and Ogoltsov folded.

The turn was the A♠. Hand checked and Turan bet 13,000, which Hand called.

The river came the 6♦ and both players checked to showdown. Turan flipped over A♣3♣ for two pair, aces with the sixes on the board. Hand mucked and Turan won the pot.

"I had a pair and a flush draw too," said Hand as Turan raked in the chips.
