Ardelean Runs Into Aces in Huge Preflop Clash

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Renato Ardelean and Adrian Andritz were involved in a preflop raising war, which ultimately resulted in Ardelean shoving all in as the table chip leader, and Andritz calling it off for 76,000 chips.

Adrian Andritz: AA
Renato Ardelean: AJ

Ardelean was left drawing dead on the 8495 turn, leaving the 9 river to be meaningless. He surrendered a large portion of his big stack to Andritz but still sat on a six-figure stack.

Flush for Larsen

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a completed board of Q975J, Dan Larsen tanked for about 30 seconds before deciding to bet 17,500 into the pot of about 18,000.

Emmanouil Chrysovergis was the only opponent still in the hand, and he quickly dropped a chip across the line to signal a call. Larsen rolled over 106 for a flush on the river and Chrysovergis mucked his hand.

"No Set" For Selinger

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Julian Selinger called from the small blind and Jyrki Lampinen checked his option from the big blind.

Lampinen called a 1,200 bet from Selinger on the 239 flop and then Selinger checked on the 5 turn. Lampinen bet 2,500 and Selinger check-raised to 8,000 — sending Lampinen deep into the tank.

Lampinen eventually decided to let his hand go and Selinger offered to show one of his hole cards. Lampinen turned over the 3 and Selinger said, "No set," as he collected the pot.

Straight for Papadopoulou

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a three-way flop of Q810 action was checked to Albert Gil who fired out a bet of 1,500. Samuel Bifarella called, before Anastasia Papadopoulou check-raised to 6,000. Gil called and Bifarella folded.

On the 7 turn Papadopoulou continued with her aggression, putting out a bet of 12,000. Gil pondered his options for a moment but mucked his hand.

After Bifarella inquired whether she had a straight, Papadopoulou revealed J9 for the flopped straight and raked in the pot.

Olszewski Need Not Fear

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Anatoly Korochenskiy raised to 2,400 from under the gun before the action folded to Hubert Olszewski in the big blind, who put in a three-bet to 10,000.

Korochenskiy then jammed, covering his opponent's 34,200 stack. Olszewski quickly tossed in a call and the cards were revealed.

Hubert Olszewski: KK
Anatoly Korochenskiy: JJ

"Aces?", Olszewski had asked before the showdown. However, his pocket kings were in premium shape to double him up, and they did just so when he ended up with a set on the 96K47 runout.

Korochenskiy, meanwhile, was left with 20 big blinds to try and spin up.

Hoang Makes a Full House

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Three players saw the J334 turn, creating a pot of 8,200. Both Svitlana Derevlianko and Ngoc Hoang checked to Kevin Weiland who fired out a bet of 3,500. Derevlianko quickly folded, but Hoang made the call.

The J landed on the river, and both players tapped the table. Hoang rolled over J7 for a full house, and Weiland mucked his hand while the dealer pushed the pot the other way.
