Expensive Mistake for Peretti

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Michel Peretti opened to 45,000 from the hijack but saw Agostino Ascone raise to 105,000.

"One-five," said the dealer. So, Peretti, who almost doesn't speak English and didn't see the exact amount of the raise, put 150,000 in front of him to call. However, this "one-five" was too much to call. After the floor was called, he was forced to raise to 165,000.

Seeing this mistake, Ascone took the opportunity to raise all in for 725,000. Peretti snap-called.

Michel Peretti: AK
Agostoni Ascone: AA

Peretti mentioned that if he had called, he could have folded on the 924 flop, the J turn, or the 7 river. But here, he had to give almost all his stack to Ascone.

At the same table, Pablo Silva and Patrick Beuter both have more than 2,000,000 chips.

David Docherty

Agostino Ascone raised to 55,000 from under the gun before David Docherty three-bet to 200,000 from the next seat over, leaving only a single T-25,000 chip behind.

Ascone tanked for a bit before making the call and committing the rest of Docherty's stack on the Q108 flop. Docherty made the call and their cards were revealed.

David Docherty: AK
Agostino Ascone: 77

Docherty had flopped some additional outs, but a pair of sixes on the 66 runout spelled the end for the UKIPT Player of the Year's Eureka run.

Schiavottiello Out With Aces

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Vincenzo Schiavottiello opened to 45,000 from under the gun and got one caller, Miroslav Forman, from the hijack.

The flop came QK5, and was checked by Schiavottiello. Forman opted to bet 40,000, and called when Schiavottiello raised it to 155,000.

A 3 on the turn led Schiavottiello to think momentarily before announcing "All in." Forman snap-called and turned over two queens, which prompted multiple gasps from the table as the Italian showed two aces.

Vincenzo Schiavottiello: AA
Miroslav Forman: QQ

Forman made a full house on the river, as the 5 landed, knocking Schiavottiello out of the tournament in 188th place.
