Ben Weiss is an SEO specialist with a background in content writing, based in London, United Kingdom. He graduated from the University of Brighton in 2017 with a BA in Sport Journalism, and has since gained experience in the financial, utilities and online gaming industries.

He joined PokerNews in August 2022, moving away from the banking sector.

Ben has played online poker since 2016, after curiously signing up to PokerStars and registering micro-stakes tournaments. He fell more in love with the game as he discovered the strategy, skill and psychology involved, and has since been a frequent player of online tournaments.

Away from poker, Ben loves nothing more than watching football and MMA, and when he's not watching sport he's on the pitch himself.
