Ran Shahar opened to 120,000 in late position and was three-bet to 225,000 by Marin Prvan in the big blind. Shahar made the call.

On the 6♦J♠4♠ flop Prvan continued with a bet of 225,000. Shahar quickly called.

The 6♠ turn was checked through by both players.

On the 2♥ river Prvan lead out with a bet of 400,000 and after some thought, was called by Shahar. Prvan turned over K♣9♦ for king-high and Shahar showed 9♣9♥ and took down the pot.

Picking the action up on a board of 9♠4♦5♠10♣, Eduardo Lopes bet 180,000 and was called by Frederik Thiemer.

On the 2♦ river, Lopes put out a bet of 400,000, leaving himself only 50,000 behind. Thiemer pondered his options for a while and eventually made the call.

Lopes showed A♠A♣ for a pair of aces and Thiemer quickly mucked his hand.

Picking up the action on the river on a board of 7♥7♠6♥5♦J♥ with 1,400,000 in the pot, Marcus Borowski was deep in the tank facing a 500,000 bet from Jan Krahulik.

Borowski eventually made the call. Krahulik announced "Ace-high" and Borowski announced "Ace-King". Krahulik turned over A♣8♣ and Borowoski turned over A♥K♠.

Borowski scooped a huge pot with his better ace-high and slammed the table in celebration.

Schmitt Wins the Flip to Stay Alive

Andrew Hawkins opened 125,000 in early position, and Tim Schmitt three-bet jammed for 935,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back around to Hawkins who tanked for about a minute before making the call.

It was a classic flip but the J♠8♥6♥ flop gave Schmitt the lead with a pair of jacks. The 10♥ fell on the turn, giving Hawkins a straight draw with his pair but also Schmitt a flush draw. The K♠ river changed nothing though as Schmitt raked in his double.

Eli Danielsson opened to 160,000 in early position and both Radek Jantos in the cutoff and Sebastiano Bonfiglio in the big blind made the call.

All three players checked to the river on the K♠10♣9♠K♥10♥ board. Bonfiglio and Danielsson checked once more before Jantos fired a bet of 425,000. Bonfiglio snap-called and Danielsson got out of the way. Jantos tabled 7♥7♦ which was counterfeit, and Bonfigilio rolled over 9♥9♣ for a full house.
