A full board of K♠10♦10♥Q♠2♠ was showing with over 50,000 chips sitting in the middle when Aleksandr Timoshenko checked, and Stanislaw Grodek shoved. The two players had very similar stacks of just over 20,000 remaining, and after a while thinking, Timoshenko called .

Grodek then showed A♦J♦ for a straight, and Timoshenko's AxQ♣ went into the muck. The stacks were counted down and Grodek had slightly more, so Timoshenko was eliminated.

With action on the side, Lakerveld check-called a bet of 6,600 from Moussa on the 9♣2♥J♠ flop.

The 10♦ turn checked through to the 8♣ on the river. Lakerveld bet out 5,000 and Moussa made a quick call.

The pot stood around 19,000 with two players looking at a board of 7♣10♠7♦.

Guy Taylor, in the big blind, checked the action to Steven Warburton, on the button. Warburton bet out 9,000 and Taylor check-raised to 22,000. Warburton called.

The 10♦ turn saw Taylor slow down with a check. Warburton bet out 12,500 and Taylor went deep into the tank. Taylor thought for so long the clock was eventually called, prompting him to commit his chips to the middle.

The 9♠ river saw Taylor check again. Warburton moved all in for Taylor's effective stack of 36,000, sending him into the tank. Taylor, again, thought for several minutes resulting in the clock being called for a second time. Taylor finally called off the bet for his tournament life.
