Ramzi Karam raised from under the gun, receiving calls from Alexandr Khvan and Alexandre Reard, in the respective blinds.

The A♥4♥J♣ flop saw the action check to Karam, who continued for 4,500. Only Khvan called.

The 2♦ turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Karam sized up to 23,000.

The 9♣ river prompted Khvan to play out of flow, leading for a small wager of 10,000. Karam moved all in for Khvan's effective stack of approximately 60,000 and Khvan went deep into the tank, eventually making the call for his tournament life.

Abilil certainly had the stack to afford the call and it looked to have paid off after the flop of 10♠3♣6♥ gave him a pair. A 7♠ on the turn changed nothing, and Iakovlev didn't improve on the 3♥ river, which meant he was eliminated.

Edward Quinn then committed his stack of around 26,500 to the pot from the small blind, which left Hassankashani with a decision. After getting the counts of both stacks, Hassankashani elected to surrender his chance at eliminating two players, and folded.

Quinn was at risk and needed to come from behind if he wanted to survive. Some help arrived in the shape of a K♠2♠2♣ flop as plenty of chop outs were available. The 4♠ river didn't change too much, and Quinn failed to survive on the 7♣ river as Sediakin's kicker played.
