Jacob Stone raised to 1,800 and Omar Del Pino three-bet to 5,100 in the hijack, which the initial raiser called. On a flop of Q♦J♠6♥, Del Pino continued for 4,200 as Stone check-called. They checked the 7♠ turn and Stone led the 2♠ river for 2,000.

Del Pino called but mucked upon being shown the A♠Q♣.

One hand later, Ihsan Said moved all-in for 6,500 and Del Pino three-bet to isolate.

Bayrak Hits the Turn to Eliminate Rona

Ali Bayrak opened 2,300 before Gergely Rona three-bet to 7,000 in the cutoff. The action quickly folded back to Bayrak and he made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of J♦7♣3♠ and, once checked to, Rona continued for 4,000. Bayrak check-raised by dropping a stack of about 60,000 across the line and Rona instantly called off his remaining chips of about 40,000.

Rona was in the lead with a pair of kings, but the A♦ turn gave Bayrak two pair. Rona was unable to find one of the remaining kings as the Q♠ completed the board, eliminating Rona from the tournament.

Jason Wheeler got his short stack of 7,200 into the middle and once he was looked by Dennis Stemmler, the latter could all but smile about the bad timing.

Shortly after, a three-way flop of A♦J♥4♦ saw Wheeler bet and Maroun Jazzar raise to 6,000. This forced out a third player, Wheeler jammed and Jazzar called.

With some 23,000 in the middle to the 10♠9♣4♠3♣ turn, Nabil Nedjai pushed all-in out of the small blind. Tymofii Savkin in the cutoff had around 14,000 behind and called.

Drach's Top Pair No Good Against Cochin's Aces

Theo Drach open raised, Guillaume Cochin three-bet to 2,500, then Drach four-bet to 5,600. Cochin called and action went to the flop.

The flop came 7♥2♣K♦. Drach continued for 2,600 and Cochin called. The turn was the 4♣. Drach sized up to 6,200 and Cochin called again.

The river came the 6♥ and Drach moved all in for his last 13,000. Cochin called with a similar amount. Drach had A♦K♥ for a pair of kings. Cochin, however, flipped over A♥A♣ for pocket aces, an overpair to the board.

Cochin doubled up his stack and Drach with left with just 1,000 chips. He has since been eliminated.

Kalfon Cannot Bluff Kesänen

Jan Kesänen check-called a bet worth 13,000 on the A♠9♦5♥2♥ turn by Michael Kalfon and checked the 2♣ on the river. Kalfon pushed all-in and Kesänen beat him into the pot for the Frenchman to sheepishly flip over the K♣Q♠ for air.

Kesänen won the pot with the 9♠9♥ for nines full of deuces and has become one of the early chip leaders.
