Ross Boatman Eliminated

Ross Boatman got the rest of his chips in preflop holding {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and was called by an opponent holding {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The flop was {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, but the turn was the {9-Hearts}, making his opponent's straight and leaving the Hendon Mobster drawing dead. The meaningless river was the {Q-Spades} and Boatman headed to the rail.

Patrik Antonius
We just chatted with Patrik Antonius on break from his Day 1, and he told us that his new baby (almost four months old now) is doing great. He also informed us that he plans to leave Las Vegas and move back to Europe (specifically Monte Carlo), partially due to the growth of tournament poker in Europe.

Click here to check out the interview with Patrik, along with all the other videos from this event.

Daniel Negreanu Takes a Hit

"KidPoker"
"KidPoker"
A middle-position player limped, the small blind raised to 2,500, Daniel Negreanu called from the big blind and the MP limper folded. The flop was {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. The small blind checked, Negreanu bet 3,600, and the small blind called. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and both players checked. The river was the {2-Hearts}. The small blind bet 8,000 and Negreanu immediately mucked his cards.

After the hand, Negreanu was down to 15,000.
