Rolf Slotboom
Rolf Slotboom (Holland) had been card dead for most of the day. He pushed all in with 9-9 and was called by a player with A-10. He led until the river when a ten fell, and was eliminated from the tournament.

Daniel Negreanu
On a board of , Daniel Negreanu moved all in for his last 8,000. Lex Veldhuis called with . Negreanu flipped over . Veldhuis had plenty of outs with two overs and a flush draw. Negreanu dodged a close one and his pair of sevens held up when Veldhuis could not catch any of his outs.
