PokerStars EPT Prague Day 1b

Welcome back to the second day of live updates from the EPT here in The Hilton Hotel, Prague.

Currently over 200 players are gathering outside the poker room as Day 1B is about to start in 20 minutes time.

Check back here regularly for updates as we follow the action throughout the eight levels of poker due to be played today.

Amongst those taking their seats today will be Annette Obrestad, William Thorson, Willie Tann, Barny Boatman, Pascal Perrault, Thomas Fougeron, Robert Binelli, Dublin winner Reuben Peters and also young Irish online hotshot Steve "AllinStevie" Devlin. It looks like the field will be made up of more known players today.

Today's flight has a completely different makeup compared to yesterday. There are some very interesting match ups at the tables. WSOPE winner Annette Obrestad is seated to the direct left of one of the UK's hottest online players, Steve "Allinstevie" Devlin.

There is usually a "Table of death"; today is no different and it has Peter Roche, William Thorson, Andreas Hoivold and Peter Jepsen.

Pre-flop it was made 350 to go. Mullen called from the small blind in a four-way pot.

The flop came {8-Hearts}

It was checked to the pre-flop raiser who bet 800 and was called by both Mullen and the big blind.

Turn {A-Clubs}

and Mullen check-calls another 1300.

The river is the {9-Diamonds}

and a rather annoyed Mullen is forced to call another 1125. His opponent shows {A-Spades}

Nicky Power, Irish Open 6th-place finisher, has flopped top two twice in the first level. Unfortunately for the Irishman the first time his opponent rivered a flush and the second time a different player rivered a higher two pair. Nicky is down to 5,000 chips after those two hands.
