Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Jonathan Little - 17th Place
Jonathan Little - 17th Place

Jonathan Little opened for 18,000 and Tobias Peters three-bet to 52,000.

Little then moved all in for around 380,000 and Peters made the call.

Little: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Peters: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

It was a massive flip and after the cards fell {5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} it would be Peters who was victorious and Little who was busted from the tournament.

Sperling Doubles in First Hand

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

In the very first hand back from the break, Vladimir Troyanovskiy raised to 22,000 from under the gun and Fabio Sperling moved all in for 84,000 out of the small blind. Troyanovskiy quickly called and tabled {K-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} whereas the German was looking for clubs or aces with {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}.

The {10-Spades} {6-Hearts} {A-Hearts} flop was great news for Sperling and he would hold up on the {Q-Clubs} turn and the {9-Spades} river to double up.

Three-Bet Shoving Time

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

There will probably be a fair bit of three-bet shoving from the short to medium stacks over this level.

Artur Koren opened for 22,000 and Fady Kamar smooth called. Thomas Butzhammer then moved all in over the top and the other player laid it down.

Over on the other table Jean-Noel Thorel opened for 20,000 and Joao Ribeiro moved all in for 137,000. It folded back round to Thorel who looked tempted but then folded {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} face up. Rideiro showed him the {a-Hearts}.

Troyanovskiy Doubles Up

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy first bet 20,000 on the {4-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {A-Clubs} turn after Eric Sfez had defended his big blind and both players checked the flop. Sfez called the bet and then made it 20,000 to go on the {8-Spades} river. Troyanovskiy called and mucked to the {A-Diamonds} {6-Spades} of his opponent.

Down to 64,000 he moved all in from under the gun and stole the blinds and antes once more. Fast forward a few minutes and Sfez opened to 20,000, Artur Koren three-bet to 45,000. Troyanovskiy was all in for 91,000 and Koren snap-called with {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}. The German had a flip against {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} and Troyanovskiy doubled up on a board of {5-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {2-Hearts}.

Fabio Sperling Eliminated in 16th Place (€19,290)

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Fabio Sperling
Fabio Sperling

Nikolay Komcharokov raised to 25,000 and Eric Sfez three-bet to 64,000 from the button. From one seat over, Fabio Sperling four-bet shoved for a total of 235,000 and the action folded back to initial raiser Komcharokov. He asked for the three-bet amount and the all in once again, quietly sat there and then announced all in himself. Sfez took some time before mucking the cards and they flipped them over.

Sperling: {K-Clubs} {K-Spades}
Komcharokov: {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}

The {7-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} flop gave the Russian additional outs with the flush draw while nothing changed on the {7-Spades} turn. The {5-Hearts} river completed the flush for Komcharokov and Sperling headed to the payout desk to collect €19,290 for his efforts.
