Delfoco Busts on Feature Table

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

In the last hand before the break, Francesco Delfoco got his stack of 127,100 in the middle after a raising war with Massou Cohen and it was a classic race. The Italian had {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts} and flipped against the {10-Hearts} {10-Spades} of his opponent. Delfoco would not find any help on a board of {J-Spades} {J-Hearts} {3-Spades} {8-Hearts} {6-Spades} and was sent to the rail.

Darcourt Can't Be Bluffed

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

On a flop of {6-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{A-Hearts} Guillaume Darcourt checked from the big blind to his German opponent Robert Schulz in the cut off. Schulz bet out 8,700 and without thinking for too long Darcourt made the call.

Darcourt checked again on the {Q-Hearts} turn and Schulz gave it some thought before carefully cutting out 18,500 and sliding them forward. Darcourt's call was almost in before Schulz had released the chips.

The {6-Diamonds} fell on the river and Darcourt checked for the third time. Schulz thought about it for a bit before checking behind.

Darcourt showed {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, Schulz mucked.

Berende Busts

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Paul Berende
Paul Berende

Paul Berende has been eliminated from the tournament. Details are scarce, but Rob Strong one table over told us that Berende got it in with kings versus ace king before the flop. Unfortunately for Berende the kings didn't held up, and the Dutchman hit the rail.

MacPhee Busts Vogelhuber To Top 400k

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Kevin MacPhee
Kevin MacPhee

Kevin MacPhee opened for 8,000 and faced a three-bet from Bernd Vogelhuber to 23,000. MacPhee moved all in and had him covered. It took a few minutes thinking time before Vogelhuber plonked out his chips to make the call and the cards were flipped over.

MacPhee showed {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and was shaking his head as he saw the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} of Vogelhuber. It was a bit pot with Vogelhuber putting in close to 150,000.

The final board showed {4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{k-Hearts} and, with Vogelhuber busted, MacPhee moved to over 400,000.

Barausova Busts

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Tatiana Barausova - Eliminated
Tatiana Barausova - Eliminated

Tatiana Barausova moved all in for her last 55,000 from late position and found a call from France's Pascal Aznar in the big blind. The hands were revealed to show that Barausova was in need of some help.

Barausova: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Aznar: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

Barausova found a glimmer of hope when she flopped an open-ended straight draw with {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, but ultimately nothing materialized as the {10-Spades} and the {8-Hearts} finished off the board. She was eliminated from play and Aznar's stack increased to about 190,000.
