Leonid Markin opened the button for 250,000 and Stephen Chidwick made the call from the small blind, Paul Newey folded the big.
Chidwick check called 250,000 on and check called another 275,000 on the turn. Both players checked the on the river and they showed the same hand: for Chidwick, for Markin.

Stephen Chidwick raised it up to 225,000 from the button and was met with a three-bet to 450,000 from Leonid Markin on the big blind. Chidwick stared down his opponent before reaching for his chips and throwing out another raise to 1.1 million in chips. Markin didn’t take to kindly to the bet, mucking his hand shortly after.

Just now Paul Newey folded his big blind, showing in the process. It wasn't the first time someone folded the big blind because he got the worst of all starting hands, at least four times before it happened today. Juha Helppi was on the receiving end more than once, showing every time. So far, nobody has gone wild with them, every time they ended up in the muck before the flop as far as we know.
Stephen Chidwick opened to 225,000 from then button and was called by Paul Newey in the small blind.
The flop came down and both players checked. The dealer then produced the on the turn and Newey led out for 300,000. Chichwick made the call before the completed the board.
Newey paused for a moment before sliding out a bet totalling 575,000. Chidwick thought about his decision before making the call. Newey then casually turned over his for a flush which was enough to take down the pot as Chidwick mucked his cards.

All three players checked on and the hit the turn. Markin now bet out 150,000 and Chidwick was the sole caller.
The paired the board and Markin checked. Chidwick bet 275,000 and Markin called just about instantly.
