Greenwood vs Astedt
Greenwood vs Astedt

Right before the blinds went up, the action escalated and Stephen Chidwick scored a big pot while Sam Greenwood was eliminated.

Chidwick's raise to 3,500 was defended by Artur Martirosian, who check-called for 10,710 on the {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. Martirosian then bet the {4-Diamonds} turn for 7,587 and the {7-Hearts} river for 28,222. Two hands later, Greenwood three-bet to 14,000 in the small blind and Niklas Astedt cold four-bet to 28,460 in the big blind. Andras Nemeth folded and Greenwood called to see the {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop. He checked and Astedt jammed with the covering stack, which Greenwood called for the 56,274 he had behind.

Sam Greenwood: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Niklas Astedt: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The {3-Hearts} turn left Greenwood in even worse shape and the {2-Spades} river brought no miracle.
