Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante
Petrangelo Has Best King
Petrangelo Has Best King

Chi Zhang raised from the middle to 2.64K, and Nick Petrangelo called from the small blind, as did Kenneth Smaron from the big. It checked to Zhang on the {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop and he fired 3.01K. Petrangelo was the only caller to the {3-Hearts} turn, where both remaining players checked. Petrangelo fired 15,000 on the {j-Diamonds} river, just under pot, and Zhang called.

Chi Zhang: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
Nick Petrangelo: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Board: {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Petrangelo had the best of it from the flop, and got good value from the worse king on the river.

Davies Gets There Against Sikorski

Samuel Vousden raised the button to 1,500, and both Seth Davies and Sebastian Sikorski called from the blinds. They all checked the {5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop, but after a check from Davies, Sikorski fired 8,675 on the {4-Clubs} turn. Davies was the only caller to the {9-Diamonds} river where he check-called for 27,275.

Seth Davies: {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Sebastian Sikorski: {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}

Board: {5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Davies flopped a seven, and that held through the river for a huge pot.

Level 2 : 300/600, 75 ante
Rudolph vs Mateos
Rudolph vs Mateos

Christian Rudolph made it 1,200 to go and Thomas Muehloecker called from the small blind. Adrian Mateos then three-bet to 9,000 out of the big blind for Rudolph to call and Muehloecker to fold. Mateos continued right away for 9,863 on the {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop and earned a call.

On the {q-Diamonds} turn, Mateos fired another 19,726 to pick a call from Rudolph and jammed the {9-Hearts} river. Rudolph had 47,938 behind and called with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for a set only to see Mateos roll over {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for the superior set.

Super High Rollers Set to Battle for $2.5M Guaranteed

GGPoker Super MILLION$ Week
GGPoker Super MILLION$ Week

The 2021 GGPoker Super MILLION$ Week is coming to a close, and one of the final events is Event #30: Super High Roller $25,500, $2.5M Gtd. Action kicks off at 3 p.m. Eastern time, and they'll play through to a winner before the end of the day.

So far, with about an hour to go before cards go in the air, there are more than 30 well-heeled players who have found the $25,500 buy-in in their couch cushions. Late registration is open for five hours after the game begins, so there will be plenty of time for more players to jump into the mix. As well, re-entries are unlimited, so expect to see a few players fire more than once in this one.

Everyone starts with 100,000 in chips, good for 200 big blinds in the first level of play, but just over 14 big blinds by the time registration closes at 8 p.m. Eastern. Blinds will increase every 15 minutes, so once registration closes, expect the action to move quickly.

Among the players already in the game are GGPoker Ambassadors Fedor Holz and Anatoly Filatov, as well as Ludovic "Gr4vyB04t" Geilich, Artur Martirosian, Thomas Muehloeker, Sam Greenwood, and Chris Rudolph, along with many other big names.

Stay tuned here at PokerNews for action throughout the day from this Super High Roller event. We'll be watching and bringing you the big hands and chip counts until a winner is decided.
