"Terhi88" opened for 39,000 from the cutoff before they called a jam to 335,420 by Aliaksandr Hirs from the small blind.

Hirs flopped top pair on the flop but this also gave "Terhi88" top set. Hirs was eliminated just before the break after the came on the turn followed by the on the river.
"Terhi88" opened for 42,000 from early position before Dario Sammartino three-bet to 115,200 from one seat over. Krasimir Yankov four-bet jammed for 607,451 on the button. "Teri88" folded and Sammartino called.

It was a crushing blow near the end of the day for Sammartino who would have been among the chip leaders if his rockets held. However, that isn't what the poker gods had in mind as the board gave Yankov a set and a double-up with his cowboys.
Mirza Muhovic opened for 32,000 from the cutoff before he called a three-bet jam by Stephen Chidwick for 177,672 from the big blind.

Chidwick was ahead and in a good spot to double before the end of the day. But he fell behind after the came on the flop and stayed there after the turn and river completed the board to lose his stack.
"pochi" opened the button for 32,000 before Christian Jeppsson three-bet to 128,000 from the small blind. "pochi" four-bet jammed for 326,814 and Jeppsson called.

Jeppsson improved to top pair on the flop and improved to two pair after the came on the turn. "pochi" was eliminated after they weren't able to hit a better two pair with the river completing the board.
Day 1d is in the books with 47 survivors to bring the total of the four opening flights up to 121 players with 100 guaranteed at least a min-cash of $31,012. One survivor previously bagged chips and will bring forth their largest stack into Day 2.
Christian Jeppsson bagged the Day 1d chip lead with 1,918,599 in chips.

The $30 million guaranteed Super MILLION$ Week is coming to a close at GGPoker but there is still more action ahead with Day 2 and the final table of the Super MILLION$ $10,300 Main Event still yet to come over the course of the next two days.
The Main Event will provide value for those that cash as the event attracted 976 entries to add $240,000 to the prize pool thanks to the massive $10 million guarantee.
A total of 121 players will return including 47 players from the Day 1d flight with 100 players guaranteed at least a min-cash of $31,012 with the eventual winner banking an impressive $1,242,332 top prize.

All of the opening flights featured 22 blind levels of 20-minutes each and Day 1d was no different. Christian Jeppsson, who had more than $1 million in tournament cashes at GGPoker alone, led the way among the 47 Day 1d survivors after bagging an impressive stack of 1,918,599.
Jeppsson, who was already near the top of the leaderboard, took the chip lead near the end of the day while also sending "pochi" to the rail after his ace-nine got there against his opponent's big slick.
Marcelo Asensio (1,681,740), Ludovic "Gr4vyB04t" Geilich {1,327,346), Krasimir Yankov (1,362,902), and Mark "Chasseneige" Demirjian (1,229,053) were closest on Jeppsson's tail at the end of the day.
Meanwhile, Kristen Bicknell will be able to celebrate tomorrow's International Women's Day at GGPoker thanks to bagging a healthy stack of 1,213,252 into tomorrow's Day 2.
GGPoker Ambassador Fedor Holz fired six bullets on Day 1d and the sixth one got him through to Day 2 with a stack of 432,818. Holz fared better than his two fellow GGPoker Ambassadors to get in on the action with Felipe Ramos hitting the rail near the end of the day and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier ending his day before the end of late registration.

Day 1d chip leader Christian Jeppsson (1,918,599) will head into Day 2 in sixth place while Day 1b chip leader Vlad-Stefan "HaiFanFan" Lache will kick off Day 2 in the captain's chair with a stack of 2,818,433.
Day 1a chip leader Luigi "shadinho94" Shehadeh (2,705,791) and Day 1c chip leader Isaac Baron (2,689,768) will enter just behind Lache with Artur Martirosian (2,056,261) and Thomas Muehloecker (1,943,839) also in the top five to start Day 2.

The 121 opening flight survivors will return to battle it out tomorrow, March 8 at 6 p.m. GMT (1 p.m.) for Day 2. The blind levels will be 20-minutes in length starting at Level 23 with blinds at 10,000/20,000/2,500a.
The action will play through the money and beyond with the day concluding only after a nine-max final table is reached
GGPoker Commentators Randy "nanonoko" Lew and Kevin "RotterdaM" van der Kooi will then host a live stream of the final table when it kicks off the following day on Tuesday, March 9 at 6 p.m. GMT (1 p.m. EST) at the GGPoker YouTube channel.
