Liu Eliminated by Diamonds

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
JJ Liu
JJ Liu

J.J. Liu got the rest of her 50,000 or so stack in preflop and was against one player.

J.J. Liu: {a-}{8-}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The flop was the exact opposite of what Liu wanted to see as it came {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} to leave her drawing dead. The meaningless {j-Clubs} and {3-Diamonds} completed the board and left her with no chips as the players near the end of the day.

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
David Moses
David Moses

Jason Bartholomew raised to 5,500 from middle position and David Moses called from the cutoff.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Bartholomew bet 10,500. Moses jammed for about 70,000 and was called.

David Moses: {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Jason Bartholomew: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Unfortunately for Moses, the case seven came on the flop and he found himself with two pair against a set. The {k-Clubs} came on the turn for a sweat, but the {4-Hearts} harmlessly completed the board to send Moses home.

Anthony Askey: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} to give Askey a double-up in an unlikely fashion after getting the chips in what looked to be a simple coin flip.

According to David Moses, there were several limpers and the action came to Moses in the big blind. He raised to 2,000 and Nicholas Woods jammed for his stack of about 17,000 in middle position. Moses called and their hands were flipped over.
