There were three Day 1 flights with Derrick Contreras ending as the Day 1A chip leader (544,000), Tim Reilly (748,000) finishing as the Day 1B chip leader and overall chip leader heading into Day 2, and Robert Clark (579,000) ending Day 1C as the chip leader.
Overall from the three starting flights, there were 1,096 total entries for a total prize pool of $565,536. 138 players will return today and they have all already cashed for a minimum of $825. However, all eyes will be on the final table where one winner will take home $100,266.

It was a classic race of big slick versus ladies. The flop came to put Matthews ahead.
The turn made things interesting by keeping Matthews in the lead with a flush but also putting boat possibilities out there for Merzhvinskii. The river changed nothing however and Matthews doubled.
