We didn't catch the action, but we did see that Nick Pupillo's caught up against Geoff Hatcher's flopped straight, when the river gave Pupillo a royal flush. Hatcher was eliminated in 13th place.
We just saw the end of the hand, as chips were being pushed to Nick Pupillo, coming from the stack of Ken Moore. The completed board was and Pupillo had tabled . As it was told to us, the players got it all in on the flop and Moore's pocket jacks didn't catch up, giving Pupillo the huge double.
We picked up the action with a board of and Nick Pupillo led for 52,000. Ken Moore moved all in for approximately 200,000 and Pupillo quickly called, tabling . Moore needed to find a club for his , but it didn't come on the river and Moore was sent to the rail.
Not a whole lot going on thus far at the final table. A few three-bets preflop have gone uncalled recently but nothing significant. With the average stack at nearly 50 big blinds, don't be surprised if the players are very careful in picking their sports.
