George Lusby Eliminated in 16th Place ($2,863)

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
George Lusby
George Lusby

Keven Stammen opened to 26,000 from the button and George Lusby moved all in from the small blind for around 60,000 total. Stammen made the call and rolled over {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Lusby needed to find a match for his ace, tabling {q-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}.

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} however and Lusby was gone. Just like that, Stammen has chipped back up to a nice stack.

Bowen Doubles Huge

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We walked up to a board of {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Shawn Bowen was heads up with Keven Stammen. Bowen check-called a bet of 42,000 and the {2-Hearts} landed on the turn. Bowen again check-called, this time for 83,000. After the {3-Diamonds} fell on the river and another check from Bowen, Stammen announced "all in", and was met with an immediate call from Bowen for his final 280,000.

Bowen tabled {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and his two pair was good, as Stammen mucked and was left decimated with only 68,000 in chips remaining. The huge double gives Bowen over 900,000 in chips.

Mike Scarborough Eliminated in 13th Place ($3,664)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Shawn Bowen opened from under the gun and TM Williams called. Mike Scarborough moved all in from the button for 51,000 total. Bowen and Williams called and the flop came {5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Bowen check-called a bet of 55,000 and the {6-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Bowen checked and Williams bet 145,000. Bowen thought for a moment and then folded jack-queen face up.

Williams: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Scarborough: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The {6-Diamonds} fell on the river and Scarborough hit the rail.

Chris Best Eliminated in 12th Place ($4,695)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante
Chris Best
Chris Best

Chris Best and Blake Barnes got it all in preflop with fairly even stacks.

Barnes: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Best: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The flop of {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} kept it safe for Barnes, but the {8-Diamonds} turn gave Best flush outs. The river was the {8-Spades} though and Barnes busted Best in 12th place.
