Kingston Rivers Broadway

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Dawn Flores checked to Matthew Kingston on a flop of {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{a-Hearts}, and Kingston fired out a bet of 1,500. Lopes called.

Both players checked after the {q-Spades} paired the board on the turn, and the {j-Diamonds} completed the board. Lopes checked, Kingston bet 3,400, and Flores called, showing an {a-}.

Kingston tabled {k-Spades}{10-Spades} for Broadway though, and raked in the pot.

Barry Borgmeyer Bounced

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Barry Borgmeyer fired out 10,200 on a board of {5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades}, and Mark Fledderman moved all in for just 6,450 more.

"I priced myself in," Borgmeyer sighed, making the call.

Borgmeyer: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Fledderman: {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Fledderman's pair of nines held up when the {2-Hearts} bricked off on the river, and he doubled to 34,000 chips. Borgmeyer was left with just 4,000, and exited shortly thereafter.

Cool Story, Brodie

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

A short-stacked Keith Brodie said he would shove with a hand as small as pocket threes not too long ago, and low and behold he was recently at risk with a wired pair of tres.

His {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} was slightly ahead of Jason Bliven's {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, but Bliven flopped a jack. Brodie was unable to hit a three on the turn or the river, and was eliminated.

"I said I'd jam threes," Brodie said, frustrated.

Bliven is up to around 70,000 chips, while Brodie is still floating around the tournament area, re-telling his elimination hand.
