Snead Busts Delgros With Dramatic Turn in Largest Pot of Tournament Thus Far

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Calvin Snead
Calvin Snead

The flop read {4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. It was a tangle of two of the largest stacks in the room. Out of the big blind, Ryan Delgros bet 40,000. Calvin Snead raised to 100,000 from the button.

Delgros waited a few moments before announcing all in. Snead went into the tank to think it over. After about 30 seconds he tossed in the the chips for the call.

Degros was ahead with the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} against the {k-Spades}{j-Spades} of Snead.

The turn changed everything when the {k-Hearts} peeled off. Snead jumped up in celebration while Delgros let his phone tumble to the ground in exasperation. The {3-Hearts} on the river confirmed the bust out and the dramatic win for Snead while Delgros could do nothing but walk to the payout table.

Snead Slays Another One

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

In a pre-flop all in, Frank Dellaria was ahead with the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} against the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} of Calvin Snead.

The flop was a good one for Dellaria as it came {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} giving him a flush draw as well as the pair. But the turn was the {q-Spades} to surge Snead into the lead. The river was the {4-Spades} and Snead took down another victim much to his delight as he pumped his fist and took in the pot.
