You Bet It, You Take It

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

After the UTG player raised to 2,100 Brandon Seeley called from middle position, along with the players on the button and in the big blind.

The players checked to the turn on a board reading {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, and then checked around to Seeley, who put out a bet of 2,000.

That was just the right amount to get the other three players to release their cards and give Seeley some needed chips.

Mike Kamenjarin
Mike Kamenjarin

The preflop action escaped us but we do know that Mike Kamenjarin got his stack of 8,200 all in and was primed to double.

Kamenjarin: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Kamenjarin was looking to dodge an ace or some other sort of bad beat, and he did just that as the board ran out a clean {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

Elmore had the better king and the kicker played after the board ran out {a-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

We joined the headsup action on a board reading {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

After the player in early position checked, Craig Casino announced, "All in.'

The other player, who had a much shorter stack, thought for a moment and then released his cards, which sent the pot to Casino.

Stahr bet 2,000 on the turn {4-Hearts}. The Small Blind Called.

The Worst Hand is the Best Hand

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Action folded around to the cutoff, who raised to 2,000. Tim Burden called from his small blind and Aaron Johnson folded his big blind.

Burden checked the {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, and then called the 2,200 continuation bet from the cutoff.

After Burden checked the {5-Clubs} turn, the cutoff bet 10,000, at which time Burden then shoved for a total of 12,500, which got an immediate call from the cutoff.

The players then tabled their hands, which showed that Burden was ahead with his two pair, but the cutoff had outs to the flush and a better two pair.

Burden: {7-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Cutoff: {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The {a-Spades} river secured the double up for Burden.
