Simon Says, "Position Poker"

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

In one of the last hands before the break, action folded around to the player in the hijack and he raised it to 700, getting called by Dave Simon on the button and the player in the big blind.

The big-blind player checked the {7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop,and the hijack continued for 1,300, only getting called by Simon.

The hijack player then checked the {k-Clubs} turn, and it was Simon who bet, making it 1,500.

After the hijack player made the call and checked the {9-Spades} river, Simon eyed the hijack's stack, which was short, and threw in a 5,000 chip.

The player in the hijack released his cards and Simon collected the pot.

Rogowski Pulls in a Big Pot

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante
Andy Rogowski
Andy Rogowski

Jeff Fielder opened for 800 from the hijack and Craig Casino called from the cutoff. Andy Rogowski came along from the button and then the player in the small blind three-bet to 2,200.

Fielder called and that priced in both Casino and Rogowski to make it four-way action to the {6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop. The small blind led out for 5,000 and both Fielder and Casino folded. Rogowski then raised to 11,000 and the small blind three-bet all in for approximately 30,000. Rogowski, who didn't have too much more than that, quickly called.

Rogowski: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Small Blind: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Rogowski flopped bottom set to pull ahead of the aces and he locked it up on the turn when the {6-Clubs} gave him quads. The meaningless {9-Hearts} was run out on the river and Rogowski was pushed the pot.

Three Way Action on Table #32

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Action was limped around to Craig Casino who raised to 1,000 in the small blind. Casino was called by Robert Fein UTG +1 and Jeffery Fielder on the button.

A rainbow {3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} came on the flop and Casino bet 2,200, getting called from both Fein and Fielder.

All three plyers checked their hands after both the turn {5-Spades} and the river {j-Clubs}.

The playeres tabled their hands, Fein: {q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} Casino: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Fielder's {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} wins with a pair.

Tim Vance
Tim Vance

Tim Vance, who back in 2008 won the EPT4 Copenhagen Main Event for more than $1.2 million, got his last 14,000 all in preflop and was primed for a double.

Vance: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Opponent: {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Vance was looking to dodge a four, and that's just what he did when the board ran out a clean {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

Ship the double to Vance!
