Final Table

From an exceeding field of 555 entries, the Heartland Poker Tour Lawrenceburg $1,100 Main Event is now down to the final nine players. George Janssen closed out Day 2 on a massive heater to take an overwhelming chip lead into the final table.

Janssen has already secured his largest career cash but with over $100,000 for first place, his sights will be set on locking up the title. The Michigan native will bring 6,695,000 to the table when the final day gets underway, more than 40% of the total chips in play. Sitting in second place is Gregory Wood with 2,300,000 and is the only player who has previous HPT final table experience. Rounding out the top three stacks is Douglas Songer with 1,760,000 chips.

The levels will continue to be 40 minutes in length and will be reduced to 30 minutes when heads-up play begins.

Most of these players will get their first taste of playing in front of an audience on a live stream. The live stream will begin at the start of play and will be on a 30-minute delay with hole cards being shown. It can be seen on Twitch or by clicking on the 'Livestream' tab.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be syncing its live updates with the stream and you can follow all of the action until a winner is crowned.

Breslauer Doubles Through Wood

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The action folded around to Gregory Wood who raised it up to 130,000 on the button and Gary Breslauer shoved all in for 635,000 in the small blind. Wood asked for a count and then made the call to put Breslauer at risk.

Gary Breslauer: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Gregory Wood: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Breslauer was still in a dominating position. The {9-Clubs} on the turn provided Wood with some chop outs but the {6-Diamonds} on the river secured the double up for Breslauer.

Joey Hiudt opened to 200,000 in middle position and Mike Shin shoved all in for 1,215,000 from the small blind. The action was back on Hiudt who asked for a count and thought for a minute before making the call.

Joey Hiudt: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Mike Shin: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Hiudt held on to the lead in this massive flip through the flop of {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. The {6-Spades} on the turn changed nothing and the {j-Hearts} on the river was the dagger to eliminate Shin.

Janssen Gets the Best of Hiudt

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

With the action folded to George Janssen in the small blind, he raised it up to 240,000. Joey Hiudt stuck in a three-bet to 500,000 from the big blind and Janssen called.

The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Janssen check-called a bet of 380,000 from Hiudt. The {j-Hearts} paired the board on the turn and both players checked to the {9-Hearts} on the river. Janssen led out for 700,000 and Hiudt looked him up. Janssen tabled {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a flush and scooped the pot.
