Dawson Doubles Through Pappano

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

After a limp from early position, Terry Sandifar raised to 2,400 on the button. Jeremy Pappano three-bet shoved all in for 16,000 in the small blind and Charles Dawson also pushed all in for 11,800 in the big blind. The limper folded as did Sandifar and the two remaining hands were tabled.

Charles Dawson: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Jeremy Pappano: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Dawson was in a dominating position and the flop of {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} gave him a stranglehold on the hand. Pappano picked up some outs on the {10-Clubs} turn card but the {2-Hearts} on the river gave Dawson a full double up.

Sepiol Pressures Phan

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Four players each saw a flop for 1,000 apiece as the dealer fanned {4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} across the felt. The action checked to Daniel Sepiol on the button who bet 2,200 and only Donnie Phan called from the cutoff.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Phan checked to Sepiol again who dropped in a stack of T5,000 chips. Phan had roughly 11,000 sitting in front of him and had a decision to make for his entire stack. He soon elected to fold and Sepiol dragged in the pot.

Hiudt Keeps Building

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

The action folded to Terry Sandifar on the button who made it 1,500 to go. The small blind called and Joey Hiudt three-bet to 4,000 from the big blind. Both Sandifar and the small blind called to see a flop of {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

The small blind checked to Hiudt who continued for 7,500 which got Sandifar to release but the small blind stuck around. The turn was the {3-Hearts} and the small blind check-called another bet of 11,000 from Hiudt.

The river brought the {10-Spades} and both players knuckled the table. Hiudt turned over {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for two pair and his opponent looked back at his cards before tossing them to the muck.

Scarborough is "Showing Off"

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Mike Scarborough
Mike Scarborough

After Mike Scarborough and Donnie Phan limped in from early position, Richard Weeks raised to 2,100 in the cutoff. Both Scarborough and Phan called and the flop fell {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

The action checked around to the {7-Diamonds} on the turn and Scarborough led out for 2,500. Phan called and Weeks stepped aside as the {a-Diamonds} completed the board. Scarborough checked this time and Phan tossed in a bet of 6,500. Scarborough thought for a minute and eventually made the call.

Phan dispatched his cards to the muck and Scarborough tabled {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} to rake in the pot. "I'm just showing off," Scarborough said as he emphasized that he called with a pair of fours. "I like to show off."
