Iverson Cotton Snuffer has been getting three-bet relentlessly, the most recent of which was an open to 35,000 from the hijack. Joe Ebanks threw in a reraise of 106,000 and Snuffer remarked that his desire to not race is waning and that next time somebody comes over the top, he is going with it. Ebanks smiled and flashed the as he took down the pot.
"You were in trouble!" Snuffer said.
"I believe it," said Ebanks. Snuffer told him he had a king and another face card.
The very next hand, Ebanks opened from the button and Anthony McIe reshoved for 146,000 from the small blind. Ebanks made the call, and the two turned up their hands.
The flop came , pairing McIe's three but giving Ebanks outs to the nut flush as well as a wheel to chop. The turn and river came and McIe survived with the double.
