In a three-bet pot worth 55,000 chips, Stephen Henderson made a bet of 45,000 from under the gun on a flop of 5♦K♥A♦. Gary Stokes then jammed all in for 115,500 and Henderson spent a few minutes in the tank before dejectedly putting in a call.

Hand Eliminates Pop Cuc

It folded to hometown hero Fintan Hand in the small blind and he moved all-in, covering Victor Pop Cuc in the big blind who had 58,000 in front of him. Upon looking at his cards he quickly called and the cards went on their backs.

Lech Folds Turn as Lampropoulos Joins Rail

Michael Lech raised to 8,000 from middle position and Larry Ryan defended his big blind. On the K♦5♠2♥ flop, Lech continued for 4,000 after a check from Ryan. Ryan then raised to 15,000 and Lech called.

The 9♠ turn saw Ryan shove his remaining 40,000 chips in the middle, to which Lech quickly folded, awarding the pot to his opponent.

Meanwhile, Maria Lompropulos was eliminated from an adjacent table and joined the many other early eliminations on Day 2.

Top ten stack Firat Baltaci was involved in a three-bet pot against Mert Tozlu. On a flop of 3♠10♥3♣, there were 65,000 chips in the pot when Baltaci bet 30,000 from the small blind. Tozlu made the call for the 7♥ turn to reveal itself.

Baltaci then put Tozlu to the test by shoving all in, vastly covering the 100,000 or so chips Tozlu had behind.

A quick fold followed from the Turkish player, seeing Baltaci cross the 400,000-chip mark.

Schneiders On a Roller Coaster Ride

On a turn of 2♥K♠8♦2♠ and with 55,000 chips in the pot, Felix Schneiders checked out of the big blind to Jonathan Condron under the gun. Condron then jammed all in for 64,300 chips, barely being covered by Schneiders.

Schneiders mulled his decision over for a good while before committing to a call to put his opponent at risk.

It looked like Condron's bluff would be his last hand of the Main Event, but the A♣ river saw him hit an ace to double up. Schneiders, meanwhile, was left with just 6,000 chips.

Those chips went in the next hand when Gareth McMahon raised to 10,000 from the cutoff and Matz Lindman called on the button. Schneiders also committed his chips from the small blind and the 2♣Q♦5♣ was checked through by McMahon and Lindman.

The 7♦ turn saw McMahon check-fold to a bet of Lindman, after which the cards were tabled.

Schneider's pair of fives was the better hand and held on the 10♠ river, seeing him quadruple up.

Worley-Roberts Destroys Sjoberg to Ascend Among Leaders, Hennen Makes Sick Fold

Per Erlend Sjoberg got in his final 40,000 chips from the cutoff and received two callers in Deborah Worley-Roberts in middle position and Rutger Hennen in the small blind.

Hennen then led out for 60,000 chips on the J♣10♠8♥ flop and Worley-Roberts called to create a side pot. The Q♠ turn was subsequentially dealt, causing Hennen to slow down and check.

Worley-Roberts took the opportunity to jam all in for 151,000, sending Hennen into the tank. After a few minutes, he decided to fold his J♠J♥ face-up, adding the set to the muck and creating a showdown.
