Adamson Doubles Off Mulder

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Julian Adamson
Julian Adamson

We caught up with the end of a big hand between Teun Hernar Mulder and Julian Adamson. We learned from the table that Mulder opened up from late position and Adamson defend. Mulder then fired out on the {4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop and again after the {j-Diamonds} came on the turn and got calls both times.

Mulder then jammed after the {k-Spades} came on the river and Adamson called. Adamson collected a pot of around 210,000 in chips after he turned over {10-}{10-} for a set which more than beat the {10-}{7-} held by his opponent.

Juhola Doubles Off Tuomi

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jari-Pekka Juhola, also known as JP in Finland, jammed from the hijack for 32,500. The floor was then called when the action was on Antti Tapani Tuomi in the cutoff.

Tuomi said in English that he was all-in as well for about 180,000. However, several players at the table pointed out that he has been speaking Finnish in hands despite being asked while he is in a hand to speak English only. The floor spoke with Juhola and asked him to only speak in English in the hand and Tuomi pointed out in this case he did and the hand went on.

Juhola was well ahead with {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} against Tuomi's {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Juhola doubled up after the board ran out {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.

As the dealer was shipping the chips to Juhola, the floor informed Tuomi that if he is speaking in Finnish again in a hand even if he wasn't doing it this time he would receive a penalty as he has been warned at least once before.

Carmen-Elina Vist

OlyBet Team Pro Carmen-Elina Vist is thus far having a decent Day 2 and is up to 175,000 in chips.

In a recent hand, she bet 8,500 into a pot of 25,000 on the turn with the board reading {3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Spades}. Her opponent jammed for 28,000 and Vist tanked for about three minutes.

She counted her chips several times before she made the call. A smile started to form after she saw she was ahead with {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} to her opponent's {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

Vist eliminated her opponent after the {9-Spades} came on the river and she began piling up her newly found chips.

Markku Koplimaa
Markku Koplimaa

Markku Koplimaa is back in business after winning a couple of hands. Most recently he doubled up against Mike Hansen.

Hansen opened to 5,000 from late position before Koplimaa jammed for about 20 big blinds. Hansen called and turned over {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} and was well behind the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} exposed by Koplimaa.

The {4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{5-Spades} board was a safe one for Koplimaa and he is now back in business with a stack of around 85,000.
