Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Ilari Sahamies
Ilari Sahamies

Ilari Sahamies opened to 35,000 from the button before Samuel Saariaho three-bet to 110,000 from the big blind. Sahamies ripped it for 570,000 and Saariaho called.

Ilari Sahamies: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Samuel Saariaho: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Sahamies got out of his seat and walked to the opposite end of the table before the cards came out on the board.

He returned to his seat after the {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} came out on the board to give him a broadway straight and a double.

Bergman and Paalanen Ousted

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Peter Bergman
Peter Bergman

Peter Bergman and Day 2 chip leader Akseli Paalanen busted at the same time on different tables.

Bergman shoved for less than 10 big blinds from under the gun with {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and didn't get there against the {a-}{a-} held by his opponent.

Akseli Paalanen got the rest of his chips with {a-}{k-} and didn't hold against the {a-}{10-} held by his opponent.

Zitting Ousts Babayev

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Kristian Zitting
Kristian Zitting

Kristian Zitting has gone from a below-average stack to one of the heroes after taking out the last two players.

He opened for 35,000 from the button. The player in the small blind called before Agharazi Babayev three-bet jammed for about 450,000.

Zitting snap-called and the player in the small blind folded.

Agharazi Babayev: {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Kristian Zitting: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Zitting's aces were never in jeopardy and Babayev was eliminated after the {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board failed to help him.

Kosk Ousts Jonnson

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ermo Kosk
Ermo Kosk

Lars Jonsson checked with about 250,000 in the pot and the {9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} on the board. Ermo Kosk bet 80,000 and Jonsson jammed over the top for more than 200,000. Kosk called and players turned over their cards.

Lars Jonsson: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Ermo Kosk: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Jonsson got out of his seat when he saw how slim his hopes were. He then headed to the cashier after the {9-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

Also eliminated were Gunnar Wedde, Aleksejs Gusevs, and Rauno "Estonian Jesus" Tahvonen on the feature table.

Heeringas Didn't Make it Rain; Bubbles Main Event

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Rain Heeringas
Rain Heeringas

Samuel Saariaho opened for 15,000 from early position. It folded around to Rain Heeringas, who was down to one big blind before the hand and was automatically all-in.

A crowd gathered and players turned over their cards.

Samuel Saariaho: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Rain Heeringas: {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Saariaho was ahead and remained in the lead after the {4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} came on the flop. The {7-Hearts} appeared on the turn to open up a flush draw and a gutshot straight draw for Heeringas in addition to both his hole cards also being live.

None of these outs came as the {8-Spades} completed the board on the river and Heeringas bubbled the Main Event.

The remaining 80 players are each guaranteed a payout of at least €2,100.

Kings of Tallinn
Kings of Tallinn

Welcome to Day 3 of the 2020 Kings of Tallinn €1,100 Main Event at the Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Park Hotel.

What an event it has been thus far. A total of 591 entrants got into the mix during the two opening flights along with another 83 entrants during the first blind level of Day 2 to bring the field up to 674 entrants.

The prize pool absolutely smashed the €500,000 guarantee with €640,300 being paid out to those that cash and the winner going home with a huge six-figure haul of €141,400. This makes it the largest single tournament held at this venue and the third-largest ever held in Estonia, just behind the two EPTs that took place in the Estonian capital a decade ago.

Three Finnish players are in the top five on the leaderboard to start the day including Akseli Paalanen (877,000), Ilari Sahamies (605,000), and Jaakko Hokkanen (562,000). Also in the top five are Sweden's Dennis Berglin (827,000) and Norway's Borge Dypvik (563,000).

Today's penultimate day will play deep into the money today and will end when the final table is reached. A total of 80 players out of the 82 starting today will cash the Main Event for at least €2,100 with the winner tomorrow slated to walk home with €111,400.
