Lex Live
Lex Live

The field has whittled down to only 46 players out of the 1,064 that started the journey of winning one of those beautiful beaker trophies in the €225 Lex Live Main Event here in Grand Casino de Namur. Mohamed Adansar starts at the top of the leaderboard today. Adansar bagged the chip lead with 3,635,000 yesterday after he won most of his chips in the final level of the day. He is closely followed by Kevin Muders with 2,705,000.

They will play down to a winner today and players are preparing themselves for a long day. There are still 46 players in the tournament and they will have 13 hours to complete the day. The winner will walk away with €37,105 and a nice trophy. The day will start at 3 p.m. and they will start in level 24 with blinds at 25,000/50,000 and a big blind ante of 50,000.

Tomislav Savov a.k.a. 'JustX' is the only community member still left in the tournament. The Bulgarian played an online satellite on PokerStars but he just missed out of the package after busting at the final table. Savov still decided to book some plane tickets and a hotel and that might turn out to be a great decision.

PokerNews will be present on the tournament floor to provide you with updates until a winner is crowned in Namur.

Soufiane Gherbi started the day with just 25,000 in front of him which is half a big blind. He managed to quadruple up in one of the first hands of the day.

A couple hands later he saw Farid Azarkan open from late position to 135,000. Gherbi called all-in for his last 100,00 from late position and Kevin Muders called as well from the small blind.

The flop fell {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Muders checked his option. Azarkan bet 350,000 and Muders folded. Gherbi showed {k-Spades}{j-Spades} but he was behind against the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of Azarkan.

The {10-Hearts} turn gave Gherbi some outs, but the river was the {8-Clubs} and he was eliminated.

Tomislav 'JustX' Savov, the last standing member of the Lex Veldhuis community busted out of the tournament before Gherbi. Kévin Jeukenne and Daniel Dinulescu busted out as well.
