Preflop Posturing from Noske and Wendt

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Steven Wendt min-clicked from under the gun. Thomas Noske three-bet to 2,200 and was cold-called by Francesco Micucci in the big blind. Wendt four-bet 11,500 and was met by a verbal all-in by Noske.

Micucci folded and Wendt open folded {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} in disgust with Noske's shove

Simkus Takes From L'Allemend

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Mindaugas Simkus opened to 1,300 from early position and only Agnes L'Allemend called from the button.

Simkus fired for 1,000 on the {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop and was called. He sized up to 2,500 on the {k-Spades} turn and again was called.

The {q-Clubs} river prompted a third barrel from Simkus, this time to 5,000, and it was enough to get L'Allemend to fold.

Pujol Finishes Off Rigby

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante
Alain Pujol
Alain Pujol

Javier Casal opened to 600 from middle position and was called Anne-Marie Yuen in the cutoff and Alain Pujol in the small blind. Daniel Rigby moved all-in for 7,100 from the big blind. Only Pujol called.

Daniel Rigby: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Alain Pujol: {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Pujol, who had already beaten Rigby with ten-deuce, was looking to do it again but it seemed unlikely after the {7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop. The {10-Spades} turn gave Pujol two pair. Rigby made a smaller two pair on the {8-Spades} river and exited the tournament room.

Magy Nearing Six Figures

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Five-ways to a flop of {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds} Daniel Magy bet 6,200 and had one customer in Mark Attard.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} and Magy grabbed a handful of chips which was enough to put Attard's tournament life on the line. After mulling it over Attard elected to fold.

Hawes Back Raises

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Greg Hawes
Greg Hawes

Lothar Wolz opened to 1,500 from under the gun and was called by Gary Hawes from the cutoff. Gregor Ceglarek three-bet to 4,100 from the big blind, leaving around 23,000 behind.

Wolz mucked and Hawes back-rasied to 15,000. It caught Ceglarek off guard and he went deep into the tank for several minutes.

He finally decided to fold and it was clear Hawes was disappointed to not get stacks in.
