The feature table changed during the break. Shortly after arriving under the eyes of the cameras, Paolo opened to 8,500 from early position. Afrah Afrah called in the cutoff, and Chrysi Phiniotis called in the big blind.
On a 3♦2♣A♦ flop, Paolo made a continuation bet of 8,500. Afrah folded, but Phiniotis raised to 17,500. Paolo didn't want to let his opponent win the pot easily, so he three-bet to 50,000. Phiniotis quickly called.
Phiniotis checked the turn 6♠, allowing Paolo to bet 37,500 chips. After some time, Phiniotis called once more. The river brought the 4♦, and Phiniotis checked again.
Paolo added 57,000 more chips to the pot. Struggling to make a decision, Phiniotis eventually called with A♣2♦ for two pairs. Paolo showed 10♣10♥ and saw the pot go to Phiniotis' hands.

Winner of the $10,500 High Roller this week, Damir Zhugralin is now playing in the Main Event to try to win a second event in the festival. He is doing great so far with 340,000 chips, more than average.
And he keeps winning small pots, like when he three-bet from the button to 22,000 after an open by the cutoff to 7,500. On the flop 4♦7♣K♣, he bet 16,500 on the first street, then 54,000 on the river Q♥. He was called the first time, but not the second time.
A few hands later, he found himself in the hijack against the big blind on K♣J♠6♦. Once again, he made a continuation bet and was called. But shortly after he bet on the turn 4♠, his opponent folded.

After an open to 7,000 by the player in the hijack, Mehdi Chaoui called on the button, and Samir Moukawem defended his big blind.
On a low flop of 3♦5♠6♣, Moukawem bet 7,000 directly. This action led to a fold from the hijack player, but not from Chaoui. The turn was the 9♣, and Moukawem asked for 8,000 more chips. Chaoui kept calling to see the river 7♠.
Moukawem fired a third barrel of 7,000. However, this time, Chaoui raised to 32,000. Moukawem eventually called with K♥5♥, but lost against Chaoui's 9♦8♦.
With his stack down to 13,000, Moukawem was eliminated a few hands later.

Finn Zwad opened from the hijack to 6,000 and was called by Boris Smuskevicius in the cutoff. But on the button, Baki Akarsu three-bet to 22,000. Neither Zwad nor Smuskevicius seemed worried, as they both called.
On the 9♥6♥4♦ flop, everybody checked and the action moved on to the 5♦ turn. Smuskevicius bet 16,000, Akarsu folded, but Zwad decided to check-call. He quickly checked the river A♣ with 8♥8♦. Smuskevicius checked back and revealed 10♠10♣ to win the pot.

On the feature table, Alisa Sibgatova raised from under the gun to 5,500. She was called by both players in the blinds.
She made a continuation bet of 8,000 on the flop 3♣7♦4♣. Mazen Halabi in the small blind called once again, as well as Rayhan Kabir in the big blind.
Then, the 10♥ landed on the turn, and Halabi took the lead, betting 21,000 chips. Kabir called, but Sibgatova folded her K♦4♦.
The river was the J♣, but Halabi wasn't interested in this card and checked. Kabir didn't slow down and bet 22,500. Halabi thought about it for a moment, but eventually folded his 9♠9♦. It was a good fold, because Kabir had Q♣10♣ for a flush.
